My 93 black on black sc 400 got stolen a couple of days ago from my front driveway, i cant believe it, all that hard work shot , The insurance is giving me blue book value 8765 for her i had 145,000 oh and by the way alarms dont work wonders, ive had a viper, and a master lock on it i was going to get lo-jack next week , go figure. Hopefully selective theory will sort those mother ****ers out. Keep you car close to you and enjoy everyday you can. cause you never know . I was also planning to put a bomex kit and have her repainted in a month. But my mistake is your knowledge.

 

That sucks man, but they didn't car jack or hurt you. Cars are replaceable, people aren’t.

Any word on your car? Did they find it, if so, what’s its condition?

 

Sorry about the loss but hey now you can get a better SC.

That really sucks man. It's going to be hard to replace a car that nice with the money insurance gave you. Hopefully you aren't set back too far. Good luck replacing her and I hope to see you around here in the future .

Ye im planing on getting one ,they still havent found the car,, the unthinkable is they stole it from my driveway and there was another car parked behind mine so go figure how they got her out, alrms honestly dont do crap if your a hard sleeper but i had some preety expensive stuff there which wasnt insured.

 

That sux, that is 2 SC's in a small area of the east coast that have been stolen in the past few days I am kinda worried now .....

now that I come to think of it, this is the issue.. lets say a 140k miles 95 sc3/400 in good condition, would go for 15 grand or so.. now take that same car down to colombia just for an example, where there are not lexus dealers and the biggest toyota car they sell is the camry at 34-40k US dollars, that car can go easily in between 30-35 grand.. I used to go to the ports down there and remember once this tt supra back in 97 which had just gotten shipped in between vcr boxes in a container.. they 'seized' it <nothing a couple of grand could take care of...> along with a couple of the back then new model ford f150's... the supra itself was going for something like 80k and the trucks around 30-40k <all these, US dollars> a piece, basically twice as much as their regular price and all those were used.. remember some of the cars <not talking here about the sc..> you guys consider common or normal to see around, down there are considered 'exotic' aka mustangs, camaros, even taurus and such.. so keep a close eye on yall's cars, specially if you live close to ports..
