For those of you with GTE swapped SC's.....do you know if the stock throttle cable in a 5spd SC300 NA will work or be long enough for a GTE swap?

i have read some people using Camry throttle cables, Landcruiser throttle cables, etc... but I'm assuming those are for aftermarket manifolds?

if the stock one doesn't fit or work, will a MK4 Supra TT cable fit right?

I used one from a 94-96 4 cyl. Camry on my swap.

Do you know if the Supra TT throttle cable fits exactly for a VVTi GTE swap? How well does the Camry cable fit?....any modifications at all?

A stock SC throttle cable will not work. You need a Supra TT cable. I think drift motion carries them.

 

Just go to a pick and pull and get the cable off a camry! It's what I did
