Tune-up
Hello everyone... My radiator in my Sc400 just cracked when I was driving on the freeway.. what a nightmare. Luckily I bought an extended warranty from an outside company and it was covered with $0 deductible... Now I have decided to have a tune up done. The car has almost 120,000 miles on it. A local shop quoted me $720 for the tune up. Does this sound reasonable? Also, I was quoted $430 for the timing belt replacment..
I was quoted for 400 for water pump and belt...Cost of parts at the dealership..
Water pump = $108 Belt=$90
For $700 dollars what are they offering? Are these OEM parts or aftermarket?
The prices are from my local shop and they are asian..Much cheaper labor..

The tune-up includes all OEM parts:

Rotor & ignition cables
Service or renew air, fuel filter and PCV valve
Adjust ignition timing and check advance
Make necessary fuel adjustments
Service battery
