Default All Weather Floor Mats?

Hey SCers,

I'm wondering if there's any OEM or made to fit all weather floor mats for the SC3/400?
It's been a longer winter here in Vancouver, BC, lots of snow, salt and sand. last week I took out floor mats out to wash. Spent well over an hour on each side, using nothing but laundry detergent and elbow grease. I was able to restore the fluffiness of the plush carpets back but wow, there's still a lot of salt and sand in the carpets. (This could be just a build-up from the last 18yrs of my vehicle)

I really do no look forward to next winter where I pull out the mats for another good scrubbing. Maybe if we show enough interest over at WeatherTech they'll make one for us? One could dream I guess

Anyways, looking for the community input on this.

Thanks in advance

Weathertech or Husky liners would be ideal but there's not nearly enough demand for them to make it for these cars. I have been told that even on the current '08-17 Land Cruiser and LX570 models they do not offer the large trunk liners because it's not a mass produced vehicle. I figured they made more of those and they are still current vehicles without products, the SC has no chance.

Take some rough measurements of the floor area, go to your Walmart or auto parts store and see what they have as far as universal kits go. Obviously not going to be as nice as a laser cut Weathertech, but still a great way to save the carpets during the winter. We used the universal kits in our family cars all the time before Weathertechs were a thing and never had any issues with dirt etc.

I have some weather tech rubber ones in a darker tan / brown that matches the interior pretty well. I can see if there is a part number on them some time tomorrow.

One of my SC's came with rubber mats that were cut from some universal kit, following the shape of the stock mats.

My driver's side floor mat says part number 1000 and W3-LHS. It fits pretty well for what I am guessing is a multi fit generic one.
