Default EGR question



I'm deleting my egr system on my 95 sc300, I have taken almost everything off except this. What is it and can I delete it??

you can delete that but you have to connect the 2 hoses so the coolant can run in your heater core, all it does it block coolant to the heater core when the heater is not being used. I had mine removed and my heater works fine.

I don't think the heater core coolant bypass pass plays any role in deleting the egr system.

You'll also need to get s couple of egr block off plates for your intake manifold, one for the bottom left of the # 6 runner like you see in the pic, and one for the top (idestroyed my mani don't have a pic of the top one)
