Hey V
That light strip is very innovative and the exhaust fits the openings perfectly. Don't stop now, just keep going.

FINALLY pulled the trigger and got the engine splash shield!!!. Looks awesome and the quality is top notch. Now I just need to get the bolts to attach it. Anyone know what size i need?

EDIT: Well to my surprise, the bolts and clips that i need are included. I did not expect this and only realize that they were there because i stepped on them lol

Installed this a few months back but forgot to post a pic. Looks awesome and my engine bay is not getting dirty anymore. Now I just need to clean it lol

^^ That looks great! I am tempted to pick up the matte black SC300 version myself! And their front metal shield with the vents to go with it.

I kinda like the plastic on the front. Looks cleaner when put together with the big metal one. But you should totally do it. Very impressed with the quality and it comes with a nifty carbon fiber stamp out of our car's silhouette for your key chain.

Default Bbk

Sooo the driver side caliper seized... Decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on the LS400 BBK. EBC rotors, posi quiet pads, stop tech SS lines all around and a brake flush.
PICS

Hey V
Those brakes and wheels look great together. I have the same wheels and I am working on them now to bring them up to look as good as yours. Don't forget to obtain a spare wheel and tire that will fit those front brakes. Good luck.

The new brakes look great! How big of a difference did the LS400 calipers make?

Thanks bill, I love the z wheels on our cars. If you are curious about center caps, I posted a DIY some time ago that you can look up

Thanks Kira. The brake pedal feels a bit more stiff and responsive compared to the OEM. This is likely to due to the SS lines though but the biggest difference comes in when i have to slam on the brakes for any reason what so ever. Any emergency stops in the car are now significantly better and in turn, the car feels safer. During the bedding process i had my roommate in the car with me and let me tell you, this man was freaking out. I highly recommend doing this upgrade if you haven't already. Only thing i would do different is go with the stop tech slotted rotors and some kind of performance ceramic pad that has a bit more initial bite without being too dusty. PosiQs are very nice pads but I was hoping for a little more initial bite. Still better than stock though.

I read your article on the center caps. Is the liquid nails still holding up in the weather?

I actually ended up using plan old superglue from i bought from dollar tree. the caps have been taken off and put on multiple times by multiple shops without a single issue. I would use liquid nails if i had to do it again though. the cleanup around the edges after using superglue is a nightmare
