SC300 Steering Wheel telescope help!
Hey guys! Just a couple weeks ago the telescoping (in and out) feature on my wheel went out. I can still move the wheel up and down, but now it is stuck all the way in. I know how to turn the gear to manually move it up and down, but is there a way to do the same with moving it manually in and out? Or what could my problem be and how to fix it? Thanks guys!

The owner's manual refers to a manual steering column in several places, but I've never heard of it actually existing. Is it only on non-US models, maybe? That would be pretty slick, along with a much smaller shroud that would better lend itself to aftermarket steering wheels.
I'm on the side of the fence of the auto tilt/tele mode being cool the first time, then switching it off because it serves absolutely no purpose for a person of decent mobility. Maybe if you have racing seats to climb out of...but then you'd have even less desire for a powered column.

There are a few threads on here that show how to adjust the gears. IT sounds like that may have happened to you.
