Default rear taillight moisture penetration

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has a fix for moisture penetration in the rear taillights for my 1993 SC 400. There doesn't appear to be any cracks visible so I am somewhat mystified why there is moisture in the lens. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated

Good day rcftx!

We can also restore tail lights. If there are no visible cracks at all, it's usually a seal failure, which we really replace by scraping the old one off, and installing new seal around.

PS, your headlights are almost done and getting assembled today. We'll send you high resolution photos before shipment.

Thank you!

The oem taillights have a gasket on them that goes bad with age. You might just need new ones

Look for cracks on the inside of the housing. If there are any cracks, silicone them up and the moisture will go away. If you want to do it right, however, have them rebuilt.
