Default Crystal Tail Lights

I was browsing through Ebay and saw these
Wondering if anyone has these or knows anything about them. I am looking to replace my inner tails because of fading.

They just look clearer compared to the other ones they have in that listing. Have you looked into using something like the 3M headlight restoring kit?

Those are the rear fogs that are equipped on Euro GS's.

My headlights are clear (for their age). The problem is my taillights. 3M just buffs off the top layer of the plastic to make headlights, or other plastics look new again. The problem with my Tail lights is that UV Rays wore down the color. This is a problem that 3M cannot fix.

I know exactly what your talking about, my inner tail lights were a pinkish color after I bought it second hand. I looked up the price for new ones, and at about $80 for the pair, I figured I'd at least try the cheaper solutions first.

I ordered some candy apple red translucent hobby grade spray paint off eBay for about $5, took off the inner tail lights from the car, sprayed it with a couple coats of color, let it dry, and then I sprayed it with a couple coats of clear spray paint. After they dried over night, I put them back on the car and they look as good as new. I stuck with this fix ever since (about 5 months ago) and they still look perfect.

Yeah I think my mistake was that I used PlasticX to make them appear brand new. I'm guessing when I used the PlasticX it rubbed off the Layer of UV Protect-ant because they have been fading rapidly ever since. I need to find a UV Protectant Clear Coat to use after I complete PlasticX Treatments so the Plastic isn't so vulnerable.

PlastX is a light abrasive that rubs off oxidation from plastic, it doesn't restore the tail lights color back to red if that's what your saying?

True, but that's nothing a can of fluorescent red paint can't fix. If you have the money, get it. I'd put my money towards something else(LED's).
