Default Dash dissasembly

I need to take apart 2 dashboard for different reasons:

1.My 1992 needle clusters are not functioning. I want to take the out and bring them to Tannin. AS it turns out I am only 2 hours drive from them.

2. My 1993 turbo car does not have functioning LCD fro HVAC or stereo controls. I want to replace them.

I am sure there are threads on how to dissemble dash
boards but I can't find them here.

Thanks these forums have been invaluable getting these cars where I want them to be.

To remove the instrument cluster pop out & unplug the panel that has your odometer/trip reset buttons and remove the two screws beneath that, then pop the two screw covers on the top off and remove two more screws, the cluster will slide out and there are three difficult to remove plugs on the back.

To remove the stereo/hvac controls visit this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...ead-units.html

OP, to take out the ENTIRE dash (a very big job) you'll want this guide:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...-56k-nono.html

But for those two things you should follow Munch517's link for the center console/radio/HVAC removal and the cluster removal section only in the above link.

Neither of these removals you want to do require taking the whole dash out which is a pain and time consuming.

Tanin Auto should be able to repair all three items. Awesome that they are within driving distance from you!

Great stuff. As soon as I can find the time I'll get started.

Thank you for posting the great links on here to help out! We are always excited when customers are close enough to drive in too. It is nice to put a face to the name!

Thanks to everyone recommending us too. We always take extra great care of our Club Lexus friends!
