I got a 1998 SC400 VVT-i and was wondering if there are any strut bars available for this vehicle. I want to make my car handle better, not sure if it will work not.
Also on that note, do strut bars make a difference?
These are pretty solidly built cars. I doubt you would notice the difference unless pushing it all out on the track, and even that is probably going to be a different answer depending on the individual. On some light weight cars with a lot of cowl shake, it can help considerably.

x2 regular street driving you wont notice a difference..
I have a Carbing front STB that is a brushed aluminum 1 piece design with built in master cly. stopper. I do feel that under a hard brake that the brake pedal is firmer. I agree that going fast around curves on the street ,it dosent do much. I like the look and bragging rights. I have a rear 3piece that I bought from a CL. member, same thing. Front $300.00 rear $200.00. To lessen roll, I think money prob. better spent on roll bars/ urethane bushings.
Hmm, well if it's not going to make a noticeable difference in the handling then it's not worth it since this is my daily driver and not a track car. On the aesthetic side, strut bar looks gorgeous on the engine bay, but for now money can be spent on better things.
There's a guy across the pond making master cylinder braces independent of a strut tower bar. I'd like to give that a try some day. The firewall flex is supposedly quite significant without one. (How that affects hydraulic pressure to the brakes I haven't quite figured out yet, though.)
