i saw a gold 93 sc400 w/a brown convertible top in manhattan yesterday.....damn a wish i had my digicam to share what i saw.This person that got this droptop job done,needs to get his money back!. The top looked like it was collapsing on itself and just brought down the overall look of an otherwise very clean and attractive car, but with the top down?...it probably looks great.

 

it probably looked bad because he had the top chopped in like 1995 or something. I remember my boys from school telling me about this dude with a gold drop top coupe in 95 or 96 at Grants Tomb. We have been admiring these cars since high school!

 

i remember back in 1993, i saw this same car in east flatbush at my boys tint shop...i wonder if it's the same owner....

there is a sc in ny with this a rag top (i think thats what its called lol), not a convertable but like those old school cadi, might be what u saw.

 

hey i saw this sc at Audio Wizards near Mall of GA a few months ago getting the whole batman theme done! trunk looked pretty cool. but wait until you see what my trunk is going to be looking like ill upload pics soon!

 

I think this is the only car that can pull it off nicely..

I seen a convertable in Rochester Michigan 3 years ago. Couldn't grab my phone quick enough to take a pic. I give it a few years. It will be on craigslist.
