Whats up, I have a 94 SC300 that I have had for a year and and a half. It currently has 100k on the engine. It's my daily driver. I am finally ready to start getting my car to where I want it to be, my question is where do I start since this is my first build. My goal is 350-400 hp, bodykit, paint job and a nice set of wheels. I figure I can work on the interior last. Yes I am mechanically inclined, so I can do all the work myself. Thanks in advanced for any info.

 

Welcome.. What is your budget. If your motor is healthy i would say just do a simple na-t set up. You should be able to get that much hp with a nice turbo set up on the GE. Since you will be doign all the work yourself you will save on labor fees. plus on this forum is tons of people have alot of knowledge on which ever platform you decide to go with.

Yea for that budget i would stick with a nice NA-t set up. piece together a nice turbo kit for about 2k plus misc things you will need should net you around your budget. theres a few solid na-t builds on here that could give you some ideas.
