A 95 SC400, runs great and drives pretty good except for a couple of little things.
1. It seems to up shift too early, especially when driving it easy.
2. When driving on the street and maintaining a specific speed, the rpm will fluctuate or jump slightly, about 1-200 rpm. It's a quick little bump and it does it every 5-10 seconds or so. I didn't notice it a HWY speeds.
I have one trans fault code for VSS #1. My speedo, odometer and cruise control aren't working which I'm pretty sure the result 9f a bad VSS #1 but, I didn't think it would cause the trans to act up.
After some searching, it almost appears like it may be trans solenoids. Any thoughts?
Do your trans filter first! Reuse your old fluid though, go from their. spray out the valve body with brake cleaner and make sure levels and line pressure cable are adjusted correctly. Youre welcome
