Is it "safe" to leave it in the box for an "extended" length of time? In no hurry to install it and was planning for a late March - early April time frame.
First experience with this type of material so please advise.... Mine arrives tomorrow....

I would recommend storing the part in its original shape just to be safe, but have never had an issue where the part would not go back to shape. IF you are going to store it in the box for "an extended amount of time" I would recommend storing it in a cool dark place. This way its not heated and cooled multiple times in the current shape. Again though, I'd recommend storing it in the correct shape.

Few more pictures.....
Also, since we have no "sun" due to overcast and rain I called Irving and he provided some guidance. Compared to the fiber glass kits for our cars this appears to be a far superior option and worth the premium. Once we get them on our cars pretty confident these will last a long time....
Opening the box:
Part out of the box:
"Wings start to open":
With no sun and in no hurry to get this installed, it will be in a back bedroom inside the house for a while so it was recommended to lie the part face down and allow the part to spread out to the memory shape:
Can not wait to see other pictures from the group and get feedback. Thanks again to Irving and the folks at APTech.

Like most of you guys I received my poly bumper last night. Opened it up and left it left it on the kitchen floor and it started to grow like a chia pet lol. Folded out nicely to its original shape. Very good quality. I will test ft it later in the week and get it painted.
