hey guys

just wanted to share a quick mod to get the air valve working off the intake manifold and get ready to remove the big cast intake pipe above the turbo on the passenger side. i tapped a 3/8 npt hole onto the side of the throttle body where the traction control valve used to be and used compression fittings to run a 1/2 inch aluminum pipe to the back. then used fittings to get it around to the stock idle valve.

thinking about it after it is complete i could have done it cleaner by bending the pipe 90 degrees and running it to the idle valve and maybe even skipping the fittings on the far side by flaring the pipe and using a 3/4 to 1/2 inch silicone or rubber elbow.

next up is finding an intake adapter for the ct15b or cutting up the casting and welding on a pipe piece to that. anyone know if someone makes an intake adapter for this turbo?
