If you cant find a black steering column cover, you can plastidip it black. I did it and it looks good. Gives a nice matte finish.

Please excuse my ignorance, and I even searched a bit, but what's the benefit of the IS300 wheel over the stock SC300/SC400 wheels? Other than 4 spoke to 3 (at least from my 98 400), and black, I just wasn't sure what the big difference is, at least as much as it would urge someone to take on the switch-over process.

Matguy... I'm sure someone can better answer this question for you. But for me it's just nice!
Anyhow, big shout out to D3an for the advice. So I ended up painting my steering wheel column. Tools you need can be seen on the photo. Time: little less than an hour. I ended up using plastidip so I can always peel it off back to its original color if needed.

I'll direct you to D3an to answer that question. I'm sure he'll have one for you.

depending on the connector for the airbag. there is a jumper harness available or you can cut and splice your old connector onto the new airbag. and you will have to reuse your cruise control stalk/switch for cruise to work. i used an rx wheel and airbag because I didn't like the shifter buttons and a manual IS wheel was harder to come by.
