where can i get one of those mounts...
i bought my AFC very slightly used; as in taken out of the package and never installed; but it didn't have that mount and my AFC is just sitting on the floor board because it slides around too much

will the JDM safc2 work on the sc400. and if i install it do i install it the same way it is installed in the soarer. becuase on the JDM manual for the safc it has the toyota soarer but not the lexus sc400. is there any difference in the ecu.
have you purchased the JDM one already?
if you have purchase open up the instruction to where it says Sensor type glossary
look under toyota/soarer/uzz31/1uz-fe/91.5-93.12/ECU type KR
the V8 1UZ-FE on soarers/sc400 all use Karaman type ECU. Installation is the same with S-AFCII and JDM S-AFC limited editions.
follow ECU diagram Ta-7(i'll double check this tonight but pretty sure its correct)
for RPM sensor user RPM2 not RPM1 we have traction control so we have 2 RPM signals

I think using S-AFC and WR piggyback would not do much good.
I'm very soon going wideband O2 setup with digital 0-5v with 1/10000 readout. No need to go to the dyno to tune.

UPDATE:
The blue wire taps from Radio Shack don't bite deep enough into the ECU wires. I just wired up my SAFC and there was no power to the unit. I then took apart the wire taps and discovered many of the wires were't exposed enough to form a circuit. I don't have enough time today to finish the install, but I will be hand splicing the wires next time.
Be sure the wire taps you buy fit, don't just go by color

There is a guy on ebay that sells a pack of 100 female and 100 male for like $5. That is where I got mine and they worked great.Originally Posted by verylost

VsSC400, would it be practical to get a S-AFC2 controller, for simple mods such as bfi and exhaust? would the air fuel mixture be drastically different from its stock form that it needs to be corrected with s-afc2? or should this controller be used when you have a ton of engine mods? thanks in advance.

The answer is yes, it would be worthwhile. There is a big difference - when I did it on my SC400 I was running 17% too rich and gained I believe 28hp to the wheels with just intake and exhaust.
Not only that, save gas consumption.
