Default 97 sc300 traction control?

bout to get my ac finished but my mechanic wants to know if i have trac control cuz he cant get to the expansion valve if the trac is in the way well he can bit hes guna charge me more lol so iv read some threads but i just want to make sure if the traction control box is behind my glove box so i have the light in my gage cluster but dont have the botton do i have it?

post a picture of your engine bay here and people should be able to tell if you have traction control.

get someone else to work on your AC. For your mechanic to reason out your traction mechanism are on the way to get into the expansion valve is stupid in my opinion because the expansion valve is under the dash and the trac mechanism is on the engine bay. Only the tube of the expansion valve is on the engine bay going to the AC line and its easy to access.

It is pretty much an excuse to make money from you. Indeed too many crooks in this industry that take advantage of the ignorance of some people.
