My 1jz ecu that i got with the engine is part number 89661-24490. I read on another forum that this ecu is for a vvti. Mine is non vvti. Can anyone else confirm this? Been trying to get this thing running forever, and this would be a huge break. The engine is suppose to be from a soarer, and it has a 4 row ecu.

That's a VVTi Auto ECU that was for cars manufactured from 08/1996 to 07/1999 .

Cars from 08/1999 to 11/2000 had 89661-24590 .

If you don't use that ecu I may be interested in buying it if it's from a non-dbw motor. Do you know??
