Names garrett from maine. Have a 92 sc300, that i am currently swapping a 1jzgte with hybrid twins in. I am trying to sort out my ecu and harness so i can have the car running as a warm weather daily, will be stored in the winter. So the issues. I have a 2jzge harness in perfect shape. Came from the car, i have a mess of a 1jz harness (i think someone got into it), and i have a jza70 harness i bought by mistake. Didnt get enough info. Lesson learned. I have done some research and found that i can run a 2jz ge harness on the 1jz, have to add in coil connectors, change alt plug, changE map to maf or other way around (i cant remember). Could anyone clarify all that needs to be done to accomplish this? Or any hints where to look. Also would i want to run the jdm 2jzgte ecu if i went the route of using the 2jzge harness? I plan on piggybacking as i have bigger injectors and aeromotive afr kit. Also aem high flow. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section im new to forums lol.
