anyone ever try to put a ps2 into our glove compartments? I want a visor monitor and i just want a ps2 in my glove but it looks like it would take a bit of modding to get it to fit. In dash is nice but too easily stolen, evne though its a detachable face.

Default old timers

There's a bunch of guys who got the ps2 done not only in the dash but right in the wood paneling on the passenger side. looks hot.

I think ebanks did it if I'm not mistaken. Run a search for PS2

Yes, that quote is quite fitting in these times of ridiculousness such as Patriot Act and increased domestic spying powers.

I just finished mine as well, almost, let me know what you think. There are still a few things left on the trunk to finish. I'll post them when they are complete.

sealevel, nice trunk. doesnt the shifter get in the way when your screen is open ? in about two weeks my system will be complete, viper 2500d, mmats components, and either a 13.5" jl audio w7 or a 15" adire brahma. how much did labor run you ?

Looks very nice

As well as if the shifter blocks the screen opening does the shifter in park block the dvds from coming out?

Good work on your stereo

no it doesn't block the opening of the unit while in park or the removal of CD/DVD's. And the labor was all me so it was cheap.

Hemogblin, nice choice of equipment it should sound awesome.

Thumbs up

Looks really good...... how did you do the Lexus logo square on top of the install?
How does it sound with that trunk design? Looks sweet......

Do you have the GPS add-on to it? or planning? I was thinking about it, but wanted
to see if others had it installed or reviews.....

The logo was done with a simple cut out template, them I used texure spray on top to create the effect. The GPS should be in by next week, time permitting. I have the same system in my truck, the Pioneer navigation is good stuff. As far as the sound goes, it great. There are no speakers in the rear at all, the "wall" is made of a wooden frame covered by grille cloth to let sound thru. There are also tuned ports built into the OEM speaker holes. They are tuned to 38 hz.
