Din,
I don't know, but it weights WAY TOO MUCH ever since my trunk strut died. Had the trunk fall on my head once

LOL Nick T I bet that hurt My struts are going bad and it almost hit me in the head once when I was cleaning out my car, I was thinking I am glad it didn't...... I know the Hood weights 80 Lbs. so I am guessing like 35ish on the trunk??? LOL but as Nick T stated too much hehe......... Sorry bro

yeah i just recently replace my trunk shocks, im looking into gettin a motorzired trunk, open and close with a touch of a button

Din do have any info on motorzired trunk thing ?? I looked around on the net but I can't seem to find anything......... do you have links or anything ?? Any info would help..........

Any idea on the cost of such an item?

Of course I also have the Kaminari spoiler, so I would most likely need the next size up in actuators. Are they fairly basic in installation? Saw the power open & close feature of the trunk on a BMW 7 series at a car show last weekend......way cool. Handy too if your hands are full.

Luckily I caught it with my hand before it hit my head.... but it's definately time to do something about my trunk before it does give me or someone else a bump in the head.

I dont know any websites on this , ive jsut seen some units local and they dont look that hard to install

hey, i just saw the motorized trunk in a magazine tonight. they have it at autoloc like nick said. they also have a motorized lambo hinge kit. it says its a universal design along with the trunk.

rthammer's motor is weak and it gets messed up often. Maybe because of the custom metal MF plate and the dynamat...

It closed on my left index and middle fingers yesterday, possibly broken 😓
