I never heard about this one. So this was all the brainchild of RPS Automotive way back then? It would have been nice if they were pursuing CARB certification for this kit but I highly doubt it. It's unclear if this was an automatic or 5-speed car.

Vortechs are neat blowers. Easily upgradable too.
Sound like rocks rattling in a bucket at idle though.

Did they basically use dryer hose to connect the blower???

 

I've seen nearly identical hoses on many OEM turbo cars from the 80's and many racecars with turbos. It was just an older style before everything went to molded rubber or the aftermarket silicon hoses we use today.

But yes, they do look exactly like they came off a Whirlpool.
