Default scENFORCER's farewell

After almost 10 years of SC ownership, I sold my dream SC yesterday. My 1 of 905 Onyx Black 1999 SC400 went to a good home last night.

I benefitted from an amazing previous owner who took excellent care of the car, and built and amazing exhaust system. I put my own touch on the car in the 2 years that I owned it, and was going to keep it untill it died (..which it wouldnt have, cuz 1UZ, lol). I was prepared to keep this car forever.

Unfortunately life priorities change, and with graduating university this spring I am forced to make adult responsibilities priority

..I dont expect to be out of an SC for long. Another dream of mine was to own a GTE/V160 as a weekend/track car, so I'm sure once I settle into a decent career in the next few years I'll find myself building one of those. Although E55 AMG's are REALLY looking appealing to me at the moment, haha

Want to thank ClubLexus and its members for all the support you guys have provided me over the years, I really dont think I would have remained an SC owner past my first one if it wasnt for this forum. You guys have a passion for these cars that I have not experienced while browsing other forums; keep it up!

^ thanks 97-SC3, your SC has always been an inspiration. Exactly how I would want to do my future SC if I ever got back into one

So long, hopefully this isn't good bye.
I've always admired your car, and hoping it won't be leaving the forum with this sale.

Did you get your asking price?

Thanks guys! Yes, I did it..
I parted my wheels to a local member 'IanWatson' which helped me get close to my asking price, so I'm more than happy with what I got. It just takes the right buyer to come along knowing exactly what they're looking for, and this buyer was that person.

I told him about ClubLexus, but he didnt seem too interested, was not familiar with some of the mods I had done, such as the coilovers. However he is a previous SC owner and asked to keep contact with me in case he wanted to do any future maintenance or mods. Even told me if he ever sells it in the future I'd be the first person he contacts. Overall I'm happy with who it was sold too, although he will need to learn about the whole 'modding scene' (or at least appreciate the quality of whats been done to the car) I dont doubt that he will be taking excellent care of it.
