Default question about changing steering wheels

Before you bash me I have been searching the site on and off for 2 hours lol.

I have a 1997 sc300 and my cousin recently totaled his 2003 Es330 he has agreed to give me his steering wheel which is very nice tan leather and dark wood. Does anyone know if these are compatible and would anyone be willing to give a Diy write up?? if some knows of a post with this info I apologize please point me in the right direction.

all steering wheels fit, i don't think i've seen any wheel not fit, someone even has a 2008 IS350 wheel in a supra, which is exactly the same as our cars. you take the air bag off, usually 2 screws on the bottom sides of the wheel, then once that's off you get the big nut off and pull hard. but before you do that just loosen the nut so there's some slack but don't take it off, cz when you pull you don't wanna smack yourself in the face with a steering wheel. wiring i'm not sure how it will match up but you can figure out what wires do what.

The supra swap mentioned previously is very detailed- it's worth googling... The only question I have is- anyone know if the sc like the supra has an extra trace on the clock spring?

I want to make use of the radio steering wheel controls at some point...

all the wheels physically will fit, what you want is one that has a 1 stage airbag, otherwise it will not plug up. some need the adapter or you have to do some wiring.

^^^ Exactly, short and simple. They all fit but pending your want for an airbag there may be more work..

Question

Well ran into the whole airbag issue, wish I didn't need the airbag but guess I do lol so I can't seem to find a 1 stage air bag to fit the 03 Es330 wheel I have so it will just plug in. I bolted on and it looks great great changes the whole look, imo just a lot of wood looks really nice.

Any way does anyone know of a fitment? Or can u point me to a thread with wiring instructions my couple mechanics act like I'm talking in tongues when I say airbag wiring
