Default head gasket question

This may be a stupid question but this is my first sc head gasket. When I go to put the cams back in do I just line the marks up like you do before taking everything apart?

I'm not sure if you have to remove the cams from the head to remove the head from the block.
I know for a fact I removed the 7m head without pulling cams off, but not sure if it's the same with 2j??
But yes line up the timing marks on the cam gear with the marks on the head and make sure your TDC with the crank pulley also need to be on the match marks

You should be able to remove head without taking out cams....you will need the special socket for the head bolts though

everything I've seen says you have to take them out on a 2jz. Besides the head is getting sent out to be checked before I put it back on so I'm sure they will not be the same when I get it back.
