Default Rusted calibers

My 98 SC 400 calibers have been showing rust on all 4 of them. They were rusted since I bought the car but I waited to replace or paint them when I replace the pads.

Now, it is time to replace the pads. Can I paint them (with cleaning off the rusts) or just get new calibers? I have a concern on painting them that the rust will come back and "eat" through the paint in the future.

It is my daily driving car and I don't need to upgrade them to BBK. I don't drive fast anyway.

If you upgrade yours and want to sell yours (non-rusted) for a good price, let me know.

Thank you

sand them, grind them down, get em cleaned up and paint them. if you do a good job then you won't have any more rust, if not, it's just rust, it doesn't do anything to your calipers.
