Default Buying an sc (gas question also)

hey guys. well i'm planning to sell my GS for an SC. the gs is a really cool car and i freakin love it. only thing is its kinda big for me. i'm looking for something smaller that's also a Lexus so i'm deciding to get a SC. I'm still deciding weather i should get a white or black car. but for sure it has to have a dark grey interior.

well currently on my GS to a full tank i get about 300 miles then i have to repump around 18 gallons or so out of the 21.1 gallon tank. so i get around 16-17 miles to a gallon. i know the sc 300 and gs300 share the same engine, but i was wondering since the sc is a smaller car what kind of gas milage does it get. Thanks

My SC400 gets about 260-270 with aggressive driving. 300+ highway miles. The most i've taken it up to was I think 340 miles on the tank.

ok i just filled up yesterday night...i got 408.6 miles to a full tank of gas my orange light didint come on until i was at about 370 miles...typically i can go about 40 more miles when that happens...when i filled my tank to the rim..i filled it with 19.75 gallons of gas...so it was almost empty....i drove mostly side streets and i hit 100 3 times the day before i had to fill it up...i did put about 80 miles on the car all freeway...so you can factor that in..we have discussed this before..use the search for more info..look up "gas mileage".

Default 375ish on my SC300

I get about 375 on the highway.... As far as avg (city) I get lower 300ish.... I just drove down to SC from OH and I only had to feel up once on the way down, I stopped when I got into Virginia and I still had 1/4 tank left and when I got the my final point of distention I had 1/4 tank again.... and that was just shy of 700 miles So I figured on 1.5 tanks I made 700 miles and that was mountain driving and going about a avg speed of 78 from what my GPS stated...

Hope this helps..........

i have a 92sc300 with about 82K miles

i drive from seattle to los angeles often, and from los angeles to san francisco often

a full tank for me goes about 425 miles, and then the gas light comes on

this last time, i got 451 miles, and then filled it up with 17.8 gallons

i keep the cruise on at 75-85 mph usually

now thats what i expect from a sc300...so if people are getting less that us..there maybe something wrong..or your driving is horrible..but the ECU should balance all of that out...

Guys guys, don't our SC's come with a MPG indicator?
That should tell you exactly what your MPG is w/out having to do your own calculations
Is this not the case for some of your cars? (mine's '97)

Default Legends6spd ????

Legends6spd ?? where do you have this at on your car ?? I have a SC300 (92) and I do not have this feature.... Now on my parents Jeep (mid 90s) they have one the of computers on the ceiling that you can scroll through and see how may miles to empty and what your MPG is on avg and what temp it is out side..... But I was not aware this was a feature on our SCs...... If it is a feature it must be on the new models like the 95 or 97 +
