Default JE SC300 LS1 Build Thread

Hello All, we will be documenting the modification and upgrades of this pretty much stock SC300. For those who have never heard of us, we are JE Import Performance, Inc. A performance shop that has been in business for 17 years now in Baltimore, Maryland. We will take our years of experience and know how to take this lifeless shell of a car and transform it into the performance machine it's yearned to be. We have already made the decision that we wont be installing a Toyota motor in this car. We are huge fans of all the Toyota engine options for these cars and have a lot of experience building and tuning them but we just wanted to take a slightly different path this time around. Here are some pics of this car as of today.

No, it's not popping a wheelie here, came to us with no engine

headlights are gonna need some TLC for sure

Now the work begins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found the heart for the swap. Going to need a little TLC but will be like new when we are done.
This is a 5.7 liter LS1 from a camaro

Also got our oil pan from the first production run of Sikky mount kits.

love the baffling and trap door setup on this pan. Will keep the oil pump sucking oil and not air on the hard corners this car will see!
