Default Where does this hose belong

Okay so me and my friend did the tune up on his car. We put everything back and the car was idling high and surging up and down. We found that we didint connect this hose that supposly is fuel related. The mechanic told us to take everything back off and it would be under the intake mani. I really can't seem to find where it goes. It hasent ripped. Car runs great until stopping or in park. Help please

There is a vacuum diagram under the hood where you can trace the routing of hoses . It might help .

moved to maintenance.
where is that hose coming from, you are just holding a hose in that picture. maybe stand about 3 feet back and snap a picture I know where pretty much all of them go.
your PCV looks broken (purple plastic thing on valvecover) but that hose is too small to be the PCV hose. Also it does not look fuel related as its too thick to be the vacuum line for the regulator and too thin to be the return hose, not to mention if it was the return hose it wouldn't drive fine it would be spraying fuel everywhere.

the one coming from the canister goes into a metal line right next to the EGR. that metal line has several vac hoses on it that run under the Y part of the intake, but there is one nipple that comes off that metal line that points up and towards the egr/canister side of the engine bay and that is where that hose goes. If you follow that metal line it will go to a Tee and one side goes to the EVAP vsv, and the other side of the Tee goes to the blue check valve under the Y part of the intake, then it goes up to one of the 3 ports on the throttle body for Evap (canister system).

you can see it on that diagram above where it comes off the canister and goes to a Tee, but it doesn't show the metal lines.
