Im looking for a 1992 sc400 ecu in good working condition mine just took a dump on me. Also can i use any ecu from another sc400

 

Sc4 ECU's are lumped into 3 types

92-95 OBD1
96-97 OBD2
98-00 OBD2 VVTi

That being said, you should be OK using anything 92-95

 

There are a few different part numbers for the '92-95s, though, and there's also CA versions for tighter emissions. How much that matters is anyone's best guess.

 

Now that I think about it, there may be slight variation in transmission controls too

 

why not just have Tanin fix yours?

 

Bankswood makes a good suggestion...instead of purchasing another ECU for your car, have it rebuilt. There are plenty of rebuilders that fellow SC owners can refer you to. I know I can refer you to Daryl, in Cummings GA. He rebuilt my ECU and did great plus it comes with a lifetime warranty.
