I want to go a cheap / cheaper route. I found ebay racing seats for 210 shipped and wedge.com has brackets for 90 bucks a piece. So for about 400$ I get brand new seats and brackets. They will recline and slide forwards... I asked the seller to get me measurements of the slider holes so I can make sure they will line up but I'm sure I can drill my own holes if need be.

Anyone have a better suggestion for the same price or cheaper?? here are links to the things i found...
