Default Ebay racing seats

Im thinking about buying some Ebay black leather racing seats since I cant find black supra seats. I've read people saying the ebay seats are junk. Im just trying to get some opinions. I cant see myself paying for name brand seats(sparco, recaro). For around 160 you get 2 leather(pleather) seats with sliders. Post up!

Dont do it...you'll regret it. It's as simple as that.

Fabric will rip or fade, seat may break on you while braking or accelerating, your *** will hurt after 10 minutes of driving, you will start getting back pains, you will have huge headaches trying to get them to fit, you'll have to pay a fabricator to get them to fit...that all i got ontop of my head right now.

If you're interested in some cheaper, but decent racing seats check out f1spec. They seem to make some decent seats or you can always pick up some used ones.

damn... thats pretty bad. I didnt think the quality would be THAT cheap. I think the back pains would suck though, since my lower back already has slight pains Damn...I'm still very tempted to try...
What about the ones they sell at summit racing. They go for about 200 per seat. any feedback on them?

As for quality not comfortwise, Some of ebay sellers use REAL leather.

I think you have to select the color of the seat if you wanted to buy one in their site. Check it.

Why not just re-cover your OEMS and add the new padding in?

I like the way supra seats or racing seats feel. The sc300 seatsride kind of high. Like im sitting way above everything in the cabin. I dont want real racing seats because to me its a lexus and im trying to keep some luxury in it. Might kind of sound stupid but thtas the way I look at it.

You gotta be kidding right?

I dont want real racing seats because to me its a lexus and im trying to keep some luxury in it.
You say that and you're going to put POS seats in your car?? Recaro makes plenty of luxurious style racing seats. Come on, bro, save up the cash and spend it properly. Trust me, you won't regret it. There's a reason why those ebay seats cost only $160.
