Ok heres my dillema, i just purchased some clear hi-beam lights from a 95 sc 400, when i popped them in the oven and took them apart the lens, turns out to be made out of glass. The ones on my 93 sc 400 are plastic ! what gives is this normal? and does the same apply to the low-beam lights? If this is so i recommend purchasing the glass ones since the chances of them scratching up are highly unlikely.

 

I dunno about you but my high beams are glass and my headlights are plastic...I have never seen anyone with low beam "Glass" headlights. I don't think they ever made such a thing..But I cannot be completely sure..Can the experts confirm?

The European MKIV supras had glass headlights.

 

no i was just asking about the lo beams, the hi beams on my car are plastic. im sure of it.

 

all Sc's 92-94 have plastic high beam's 95+ all have glass high beam's

 

my high's and low's are both plastic, 92

 

i think mine are glass.
