Im looking to get a 3 spoke steering wheel, i have a 5 speed SC and all the is300 steering wheels on ebay have the "up" and "down" buttons. Im looking for the manual one.


However ive heard the celica 00-05 wheel fits. My question is, would the IS300 air bag fit on the celica 00-05 steering wheel?

If so then i can just buy those seperately

Yes, it will. Celica/Matrix-XRS/Corolla-XRS/MR2-Spyder/98-Supra all use the same the same three-spoke steering wheel with very, very minor leather trim differences. You'll also need an SPX airbag adapter wire. Beyond this I'd also direct you to the thread in progress on the subject for further clarification (such as adapting your cruise control).

Sure. Any of the above listed wheels will works as they are all physically the same in dimensions as the IS300 5-speed manual wheels and they are all leather wrapped. IS300 autos were the only to get the buttons.

If you want to go really cheap the 1998 RAV4 wheel is also the same but it's not leather wrapped and won't look good at all. I really don't recommend that one.

 

I have a wooden gs wheel no air bag though, let me know if you're interested I'll send you some pictures.

That RX350 steering wheel looks almost exactly like the 1998-2000 SC three-spoke steering wheel.

 

100% sure that's not an RX350 wheel.

Only the 99-00 SCs came with 3 spoke wheels.

Celica gts got the e-shift buttons as well, not just the IS300. Some of the gs did too. I wired up the e-shift buttons for cruise control and removed the stalk on one of my cars. Pretty sure i posted schematics too

 

I have 2 mint black 3 spoke steering wheel that will be up for grabs.once I find a woody.lol.black toyota corolla wheel, black 3 spoke sc/gs wheel.
