Question bringin SC back to original specs

I get a letter from lexus informing me i am due for a 204k mile tune up. I am not sure what is involved in this, but my car does need attension badly. I finally have some money to bring my SC back to what she is supposed to be. Does anyone know what is involved with this tune up?

There are a few things i know are wrong with my car that i hopefully can get fixed outside the dealership. 1) Power steering pump is leaking and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. 2) Car rocks back and forth when braking. I assume my rotors are warped and i have noteced they are less responsive. I will probibly just get a set of drilled/slotted off ebay because they are cheaper than OEM and should work just as good. 3) Car does not shift into 4th gear. It will sometimes then will drop into 3rd after few min. I believe the tranny is ok since it does not slip into neutral just jumps gears for no reason. I have been told that it could be the TPS sensor, so that will be replaced. 4) Spark plugs have never been replaced since i have owned the car, so that is a must.

Is there anything else that a dealership would do in the 204k mile tune up that i could possibly do in my own. I am just trying to save as much money as pssible by avoiding the dealership. Thanks for the help.

ok, new problem. I was driving home from the bank when my car started vibrating kind of bad, and i could tell it was comeing from the front right side of the car. I almost thought i had a flat tire. Then when i got home i checked it out and the rim was burning hot. It is cold and rainy right now and both back rims were ice cold and the front left was a tad warm. But thefront right was soo hot i could hardly touch it. This really worries me, any idea what it could be??

Take the wheel off and look for somethin offcenter or rubbing, also, I've bought the slotted/drilled rotors off ebay. They're great, work much nicer than stock, only one complaint, they rust!!! So just paint them before you stick em on or you'll be sorry and have to clean them and do it later. But other than that, they look great, so go for it!

If you are going that far....why not just get SC400 brakes?

weren't you just on your way to the dealership? aside of picking a pair up there, surf the web a bit. google.com is your friend

i'd be lost without it.

SC4 and SC430 brakes are 1" larger and fit all the stock rims. You would need the rotors and pads too. But you probably need those anyway.

Yes, i was going to the dealership in the next week or 2, but i need to fix this problem now. I e-mailed lexuspros and if replacing the calipers is the only way to fix the problem i will just throw on the sc400 assembly. I guess i will just have to keep my driving to a minimum untill i fix this. If i cant find any quickly i might just have to bite the bullit and have the dealership replace it all this weekend. Thanks sooo much everyone fot their help. It has been greatly appreciated.
