Good ideas everyone, for the most part, spare tires especially, just make sure you got AA. The one thing that got me here though was taking out the floor matts and emblems. Seriously, .5lbs of emblems, and 4lbs worth of trunk matt ain't gonna help that much. I promise you. Just fill up with 1/2 a gallon less next time and you can still enjoy the carpet, lol, that was great though, i hope you guys were kidding

I read some guy dropped the weight of his car 200lbs by replacing every single steel bolt he could with titanium ones. Very labor intensive.

Wow, I wish I had THAT kind time on my hands....

On a side note, I read a long time ago that you could save some weight by swapping in some Supra seats...

knowing the cost of titanium, and anticipating the other mods that would be done to a car like that, i believe i would BUY a supra and keep the sc.

onelasttry the SC is a much sweeter ride than the Supra. Just save the 200+ pounds with the seats and hood.

1997 Limited Edition Turbo 3505lbs
1997 SC300 3516 lbs

less maybe 200lbs with the seats and cf hood = 3316lbs
