Hello I have a 1993 SC 400 and the overdrive light is blinking on and off when engaged and when I turn it off the light stays on the car runs fine but I feel like the car should be more attentive to the accelerator its a v8 it should run stronger ?? can some help please!

 

First pull any diagnostic codes stored. I had a code 13 before that caused the same issue.
