Default Blinking O/D light???

On my drive home from work today, I noticed my speedo wasn't working and my over drive light was blinking. What does this mean?

Any help is appreciated...Thanks, John

This didn't exactly have this problem , but when I checked the code it was my VSS sensor. I suggest you check the code and fix from there.
