I love my new SC400 but, the dash is very, for lack of a better word, blah. I think I hate the wood trim more now with the black interior than with the gray in my old SC. Anyone have any ideas on something to make it look a little better? I was thinking of getting a real brushed aluminum dash kit to liven it up a little bit. The car is platinum out and black in.

Carbon fiber and brushed aluminum would look nice of you could find a company to make the kit. I have seen it in the C280 Sport Mercedes. Very nice!

my 400 is black outside and tan inside. the first thought was BLAH. it was so plain i made three comments on it as i was buying it (but was still in love). i strapped a tv, dvd, and some other goodies in there and made a nice clean interior something with a little bit of class, and a clean install kept it all nice and flush. now if i can quit being lazy and releather my tv shroud, i'll be ok

On my old SC I had the wood trim removed and coated with real carbon fiber. I loved it but, alas, that SC400 is dead. If I thought I was going to get another one I would have taken it with me. It was a pain to get done the first time so I don't want to go through it again. Dash was torn up for 2 weeks. Thanks for the opinions.
