I am trying to find out if I have the limited slip option on my 95 SC300.. I pulled to the side of the road, with one tire in the dirt, and one on the pavement, and rhomped on it, and could tell it sliped for maby 3 or 4 feet, and then I seemed to accellerate well from then up (Trac was turned off) but, I'm not sure if that is an accurate way to tell for sure..

If it has the LSD rear end, I'd think that would be encoded in the VIN, so does anyone know if that option would show up in the Vin, and what code?

Did any of the sc300s come with lsd? I know my SC is a one wheeled wonder right now. How much does a supra TT lsd go for?

 

LSD was an option that could be paid extra for. Like I said, I think mine is, and I can prove it later tonight when I goto my shop by jacking both rear wheels in the air, and seeing if they spin in the same direction when one is spun, but there should be something showing in the vin if the option was purchased.
