Looking for a replacement radiator for my car. Something that could take abuse on a race track. I was just doing a shake down with my car attacking the mountains and the water temp started creeping up despite my oil cooler and trd thermostat (running only 7psi). Looking for something easy to put in (almost direct drop in.
Thanks

1st- an oil cooler wont do anything for water temps
2nd- are you using a fan shroud? stock clutch fan or electric fan
3rd- I am assuming you are talking about your sc300, in which it already has an over engineered cooling system. I would check to make sure your rad isn't clooged

^^ What he said but if you decide to go with an aluminum, i was able to fit a supra aluminum one on.
Oh. I thought the stock car used coolant to cool the oil (like in my TT)
I thought the stock TT was still a better option than the stock SC one.

I thought oil coolers cooled the oil similar to how a radiator cools the coolant.
you just have it air cooled and some people even put tiny electric fans on them. but I might just be thinking about aftermarket oil coolers. or I could be wrong totally.
but im pretty sure the sc300 doesn't even have a oil cooler. just out of curiosity, what oil cooler setup are you running?

I just meant on my Supra TT, coolant circulates around the base of the oil filter, so if you used an aftermarket oil cooler, it dropped your coolant temp as well.
As for my oil cooler I would have to dig it up as I don't quite remember. It is huge though. I pieced together my own kit

^^ Yep. All 1JZGTE and 2JZGTE engines have oil coolers. 2JZ-GE's and 1JZ-GE's do not.
I know a Hayden Model #678 trans cooler can be made to fit nicely in the driver's side front duct on an SC. Some custom bracketing would be needed.
