hey guys (and gals!), is there a prefered or easier method to remove the end of the throttle cable from the throttle body lever? i thought (by looking at it) that you should pry it open and slide out the barrel shaped end, but when i did that this week i BROKE my throttle lever! so i have now ordered a throttle body. i dont want this to happen again........please offer a good solution to this problem.....

 

It's really pretty easy.

Just loosen the attach nut on the throttle cable housing, so there is slack in the cable. Then, just rotate the cable wire until it slips out of the slot made for that purposeQ
