Hi all. I know many of the SCs are used for drifting but I do not want to go that route. I actually prefer circuit racing or autocrossing. Does anyone have any experience as to toe setup and camber setup for what is best or do I pretty much have to start from scratch? Any information may be helpful. Thank you. I would like some toe-out on the fronts. Not too much where as I'm always constantly counter steering to keep the steering wheel straight tho...

 

I would highly recommend checking out supraforums.
they have a subsection dedicated to road racing and autocross.

and I believe what is popular is the lance alignment.
google it

 

I have the Lance alignment and it makes me feel all warm inside when turning.
Seriously its a good alignment and will make the car follow the curvature of the track and almost start turning for you its a must have I would start with that and some TT wheels and then make small adjustments from there.

Take it to a good shop or you may get one of those blank stares when you slap down some custom alignment numbers.
Ask for a printout too since its a little tricky to get it all dialed in, a good shop it won't be a problem.

I just aligned my car to the Lance spec. I've only had it for a day and haven't done any hard driving yet, but the car does feel awesome.

 

I recently completed a measurement, modeling and analysis on my '99 SC, targeting a setup for track days and a very fun, enthusiastic setup for mountain driving. I did my first track day a few weeks ago, and I'm very happy with the results. My alignment specs are very similar to the Lance specs.

I did a complete kinematics model and engineering calculations to determine my static setup and spring rates, roll rates, damping rates, etc. I have a shock dyno in my shop and built custom Bilstein coilovers.

I'm putting together a detailed presentation of the project in another post, over the next few days.
