Default Speed wire input to the ECM

Good day
Does anyone know what is the pin # or wire color for the speed wire going to the ECU on a 1997 SC400?
A while back, there was a post for someone wanting to install a navigation unit however I am uncertain it was an SC, it might actually have been a LS400.
I am not sure if it’s against the rules on this forum but can anyone post or link me to a page where I can find the ECU wire pin pout?

PS: The one on lextreme appears to be the early SC400 and the wire color do not appear to correspond entirely.

the VSS wire is not required to make the navigation work, its only to help with the following:
- be a little more accurate on the speed you are travelling, (the GPS sensors are usually very accurate, but when they lose signal or signal is weak the vss wire helps to keep you in motion on the map)
- prevents the bypass from working in some cases(depending on model/brand etc) (and assuming you wanted the bypass enabled to watch movies while driving, or hook up your Bluetooth while driving etc.)

note: if your car has under/oversized tires, the speedo is Out - that can interfere with the navigation as the GPS signal will think you are doing 60 when your speedo says 65 or 55 or what have you - it has been seen to cause the map to update more frequently and CAN in SOME instances cause grief if you miss your turnoff because it thought you were further behind or what have you..

but to answer your question : I do not know which wire is the VSS for Your car - for the 1jz ecu I could help

Sorry for not been specific, I was just using the navigation as a reference. I have seen a post on this forum regarding the same matter. Who knows, someone might still have that link but I believe it was for a LS400 which differs quite a bit from a SC.
I was just looking for the speed wire feed into the ECU for another one of my wiring experiment.
Thanks

I like experiments! So you'll be looking for pin two on the smaller ecu connector (e11), its gonna be on the top row, second wire in from the right if you're looking at the plugs still connected to the ecu. Lexus lists this wire's color as orange. Pin #1 at the end is igsw, which is black/orange stripe just in case there's any confusion.
