Hello fellows. New to the forum and needed some help. I'm very sad My 92 Sc 400 has finally croked on me and I don't have the means to get it fixed and it does have 260k miles in it. The body is in descent shape. I don't want to scrap it at the junk yard so what should i do. R there sc enthusiast out there that may want it to change out a engine in it an where can I try to post an ad for that? Thanks for the help!

If the body is decent, slap another 1JZ in there!

 

If the body is good you can find someone who wants to do an engine swap for sure. Put up some pics, or craigslist it.

 

Yea, if I had the money I would def put another one in there SC400slide! And thanks biddles for the suggestion. I think that's what I'll try to do. What price would u start off at if it was yours?

 

Tons of used Toyota V8's out there. Just check your local junk yards, find the best buy on a low mileage one, ideally 100,000 miles or less. You may even consider a SC300 engine swap. Rent a engine hoist and have at it. Few cars these days are built as well as the SC's.
