So I cleaned my mass airflow sensor and trac light and cel came on any body know why?

 

What year is your SC? 92-94 has an AFM that cannot be cleaned with the standard spray cleaner liquid. If done, the MAF is killed. Your AFM could be Karmen Vortex hot wire type. Did you use any sprays to clean it?

 

It's a 95 and the lights went off the next day.

 

Ok I've read tons of threads and got way to many diff possible fixes I was wondering if you have had this prob around 2000 rpm it studers and loses power but regains and not all the time some days runs without a hitch also a few times at a stop light car in park Rpms drop then go back up several times put in nutral and stops any clue what's going on here and possible fixes. Thanks

 

Could be a lot of things. Failing ignition coils, AFM, TPS that needs calibration, o2 sensors are a possibility. ECU is definitely not out of the question.
