this morning when i fired up the car it was acting really strange, last ngiht i cleaned the maf sensor and this morning it threw a cel and the trac off light was flashing no matter how many times i pushed the trac button.
the cel makes sense with the maf sensor but whats with the trac off flashing?
also i stopped on my way to work to get some breakfast and when i started it back up, no cel and no flashing trac off. i thought this was really strange cause if it did throw a code i figured i would have to clear it before the cel would go off.

anybody else experience this?
the trac light appears no matter what when the CEL light appears, it applies to any vehicle. The pcm prolly threw a random drive cycle code for the MAF sensor causing the CEL. When you went for breakfast and what not you prolly went through the drive cycle and the pcm prolly reset the CEL when you turned off the car. Cars sometimes throw random CEL codes..OBDII for ya :P
