Default 1JZ, ProEFI, 6465, Injector Dynamics

Hey guys. Long time lurker and sometimes poster on here.

About a year ago, I picked this car up from a member on here with big plans for it. Unfortunately a month after buying it, my mom went into the hospital with some pretty serious issues and I ended up having to help with a lot of the medical bills...thus delaying my build. However, I was able to finally get one of my parts installed. That part was my ProEFI 128 ECU. And I couldn't be happier so far.

So for those of you that don't remember this car....it has 19in wheels, big brakes, gixxer drew suspension, 3 inch exhaust, intake, front mount, factory 5 speed, supra seats, and now a ProEFI 128 ECU.

I dynoed the car shortly after buying it. It made 297whp and 278tq on pump gas and 13-14psi....and pegged the AFR's lol.

So this weekend I installed a plug and pin kit ProEFI 128 ECU. ProEFI doesn't make a plug and play kit for us 1JZ guys like they do for the 2JZ guys. However, the nice thing is, you can use a MKIV supra pinout sheet for cross reference for almost everything you need to do. The fact that a big meathead like me (who hates wiring above all else) was able to wire this thing in with very little issues (which were my fault) speaks volumes for this system lol.

I got a 2JZ basemap from ProEFI and with a couple changes (injector size, motor size etc) got the car to fire right up.

If people want I can go into a bit more details on the install.

but anyways, here's the fun stuff. A dyno video (of poor cell phone quality)
a dyno chart showing 344whp. My cell phone died before I could get a pic of the dyno sheet of the 352whp but I will post it up tomorrow.

I made the 352whp on pump gas (91 oct) and 12psi-ish.

all comments questions, and critiques welcome.

Nice numbers on the stock twins. I bet the ECU was difficult to wire but worth it in the long run. Plus you can grow with the ProEFI down the line. How long do you plan on keeping the W58 and stock twins?

Honestly the ProEFI wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be to wire in. I hate wiring more than anything else, so I was slightly nervous to tackle it. But using the supra pin out sheets, a 1JZ soarer pin out sheet, and some general knowledge, I got it done in about half a day.

And you're correct about being able to grow with it. Once the fuel system is built, it will be setup for flex fuel and every sensor possible.

I'm searching for a single turbo manifold and parts now so I can get rid of the twins. I found an R154 also. So I'm slowly getting everything in order to get rid of the twins and w58. Just all comes down to money.

What great numbers on stock twins. I know they must be hating you right now. I want to see the engine bay and more of the whole car.

I'm debating turning the boost up to 16psi to make a pull just to see what she'll make. Then immediately turn it back down lol.
